Project Sustainability

The program will continuously be enhanced to reach out and support those kids in need on a daily basis. While praying for the provisions of the land above, we propose to begin other small income-generating projects for matters of sustenance and study purposes for students.
We hope to establish the following projects:
  • Piggery projects: Pigs can be sold for money as they produce manure and have many other uses. Other local communities have begun advanced pig raising techniques and we want to partner with them to achieve better results and reach bigger markets.
  • Cattle rearing: Cattle will produce milk for children and extra milk can be sold or traded. We can also multiply and sell these animals for money.
  • Crop farming: With land, we hope to grow coffee, maize, pineapple, tea and other crops. These are the most marketable crops in Uganda and we think if we grow these crops where the weather conditions are favorable, we will be profitable as well as feeding the children.
  • School fees: As the population of school children from outside of the project increases, we hope to achieve additional money through fee contributions. This money will be used to enrich the ministry services.
  • Donations and church partnerships: We seek and accept donations from individuals and partners and contributions via our Board of Directors to support our core values.
Through the above means, we believe that the two starting projects of the Orphans` Home and School will be sustained to achieve the mission of the ministry, take care of the orphans, as well as paving way for other projects. (e.g. Secondary school, Medical Center, training centers).
